Venus in Taurus

Venus transitioned into its favorite sensual sign of Taurus on 5/28/2022. Am I a few days late? Yes, but that's all in the learning. How am I cementing what I learn? I am making tarot spreads for each planetary transit. I have found this incredibly helpful to help me learn and see the patterns in my own life.

This transit of Venus is paired with Mars in its home sign of Aries. This gives us The Lovers energy. Strong feminine and sensual energy with strong masculine, action-taking energy. It is a beautiful time to explore duality and passion-driven activities, but we can also get carried away. Don't let your Lovers energy get trapped into The Devil energy. 

Venus is the planet of love. June is also pride month. Look around you. Look at your life. Look at your community. Look at who and what you love. We should be focusing in on uplifting love in all of its forms (so long as it's safe, healthy, and consensual. We don't play non-consensual game around here). How can you uplift familial love? Platonic love? Self love? Romantic love? Love that exists outside of the binary?

This is a time to make pleasure and sensuality a key player in your life. Sensuality does not mean sexuality or sexual anything. It means connecting to your senses, to your body, to the cycles of yourself and the earth.

Dream Visit

Greetings, friends! Before you start, I want to offer a trigger warning about death, grief, and a visit from the afterlife. I woke up this morning mid-sob, mid-hyperventilation, mid-sniffle. For the Cancer lunar cycle, I was doing a dream ritual nightly before bed at the guidance of Artemis. I have since stopped, and I have been getting the most intense dreams ever since. Here is why I woke up sobbing this morning. Goddess Statue from  here My nana visited me in my dream. I have never had this happen before.  My nana died in May of 2019 while I was in grad school doing my practicum. It was the longest 5 days of my life. I did not sleep more than about 3 hours each night, and I dissociated my way through the trip trying not throw up from the constant lack of sleep. I had homework to do, and I watched in horror as my nana was sicker than I had ever seen her, and she was being neglected.
