Hello, everyone!
Here is another installment of the Tarot Overload Challenge by Hermit's Mirror. If you're curious and want to read how the first two days went (honestly, they were amazing! I was hooked by the end of day 1), you can find day 1 here and day 2 here.
The Prompt
The Pull
Today, I decided to try a different method of guided pulling. I have actually been doing a different method each day so far. Today, though, I decided to have a little fun with numbers. I know numbers scare a lot of people, but I find them calming and have since I was very young. The Knight of Pentacles is generally card 76 in a tarot deck. So I took that number and did 7+6. That is 13 (death, Scorpio 🦂 heyyy!). I started at the top and counted down to the 13th card, and out came The Fool in reverse. I had a lot of fun doing this, tbh.
The answer today was not found through some deep astrological symbolism like my last two days, but I will talk about that below as always. Instead, it was found in the more basic aspects of the cards and my life experiences.
I have had to use my gift of The Magician and Temperance in time of stagnancy. When it took pure stubbornness and willpower to get through. From that determination and will power, I was able to transition that situation into one that was more tolerable, OR I found the courage to walk away and start fresh.
I have walked away from jobs, from an engagement, from living situations where I no longer felt I was able to thrive. I have turned crummy situations into tolerable ones through laughter, comfort, connections, and generally some good food.
Astrology Associations
Uranus makes another appearance today with The Fool. Uranus is ruled by Aquarius. I have an Aquarius rising, which may help with the transmuting situations trick. Again, my Uranus is ruled by Sagittarius, which is where a lot of that fiery, burn it down, and trot off energy comes from. We can also chalk some of it up to my Aries Moon and Mars, haha. All of this tells me that I don't like being in that state of The Fool reversed. I am not a fan of feeling stuck. Marriage will never be a viable option for me because I don't want to be tied down legally.
The Knight of Pentacles has a few associations. Obviously the first one is just earth signs in general. I do not have much earth in my chart. My Saturn in Capricorn is probably my most notable.
The Spirit of Herbs says Air of Earth. Online sources say a Taurus and Aries mix, which I can absolutely see. The Knight of Pentacles has long been a significator card for me. While I have no Taurus, I am very stubborn and grounded (Scorpio energy?), and I move at my own pace and in my own way. I have always associated the Knight's energy with my own. I am very quick in thought and action, but I am also deliberate, and when I need to take my time, I will not be rushed.
Summary
Today was far less exciting in terms of astrology, but I loved seeing my old friend the Knight of Pentacles. His sure-footedness, steady beat, and organization are a source of comfort to me, especially when everyone says I think, talk, and process too quickly. On the inside, I am stoic.
