Tarot Overload Day 8

Hello!

Wow! We are on Week 2! This week, we are taking the cards from last week with the same prompts and intentionally choosing a card that intersects the original two cards. The Prompt

What am I here to do in this life? Choose a card that intersects the meaning of your two original cards.

The Pull

I am here to create unapologetically. I am here to get wild and messy. 

I chose The Empress as the intersection of Strength and the Queen of Wands because The Empress is strong. She's confident, independent, knowing, fertile (not necessarily with human babes), soft, and always in her element on this earthly plane. She knows herself, her needs, her wants, her desires. Even if she is scared, she overcomes and expands.

I think I am here partly to overcome fear and anxiety. I struggle often with anxiety about many things, and it has led to me missing out on very common experiences in life. Fear is something to overcome, and even with the former mentions, I have overcome fear many times in the last 33 years of life. There is still much to conquer, to overcome, to heal, and integrate.

Astrology Associations

Astrology didn't even pop into my head when choosing this card. I was thinking fully in the aspects of tarot and imagery. The Empress has the association of Venus. Venus is ruled by Taurus and Libra. While I have no Taurus in my chart, my Venus is actually in Libra. My Venus is also in the 8th house which is ruled by Scorpio. It is an intense and passionate placement. I know what I need and want from my romantic partnerships. I know I have the strength to figure that out for my career and financial life as well.

 Greetings, all! Here is another installment of the  Tarot Overload Challenge  by  Hermit's Mirror . If you're curious and want to read how the first two days went (honestly, they were amazing! The Pull Today's second card came from another numbers game. I got the 10 of Wands so I decided to shuffle 10 times and pull the top card. Out came The Chariot in reverse. I have gotten at least one major every day so far! Very interesting... There are some very big and transformative energies in this challenge. My lesson is the patience and determination to get through the hard parts in life. Tarot Overload Day 2

 Hello, everyone! This will be a daily (hopefully) series! If you missed the first post, I am participating in the Tarot Overload Challenge by Thomas over at Hermit's Mirror . The Prompt What gift have I been given to what I have to do in this life? The Pull I shuffled as I usually do, and Temperance came out. I didn't want to do the arc again like I did yesterday because it wasn't resonating. I remember that HermitsMirror had done something with numbers to get to his next card (the details are here ), and I thought about how I wanted to be guided today. Dream Visit

Greetings, friends! Before you start, I want to offer a trigger warning about death, grief, and a visit from the afterlife. I woke up this morning mid-sob, mid-hyperventilation, mid-sniffle. For the Cancer lunar cycle, I was doing a dream ritual nightly before bed at the guidance of Artemis. I have since stopped, and I have been getting the most intense dreams ever since. Here is why I woke up sobbing this morning. Goddess Statue from  here My nana visited me in my dream. I have never had this happen before.  My nana died in May of 2019 while I was in grad school doing my practicum. It was the longest 5 days of my life. I did not sleep more than about 3 hours each night, and I dissociated my way through the trip trying not throw up from the constant lack of sleep. I had homework to do, and I watched in horror as my nana was sicker than I had ever seen her, and she was being neglected.
