Tarot Overload Day 9

Greetings --

We are on Week 2! This week, we are taking the cards from last week with the same prompts and intentionally choosing a card that intersects the original two cards. The Prompt

What gift have I been given to help do this? Intentionally choose a card that intersects the original two.

The Pull

The gift of intuition and seeing the big picture is what I see in The High Priestess. I chose The High Priestess because we need intuition, the power of sight and knowing in order to alchemize and manifest. Clarity is key. 

Astrology Associations

Once again, I did not even consider astrology for this choosing. I think tomorrow I might remember that astrology exists within these cards, haha. The High Priestess is associated with The Moon. My moon is in Aries and the second house. If my gift is to manifest and alchemize, I think this is a perfect thing. The second house is for finances and money. Aries is the beginning of the wheel of the year. It is the manifestation of newness, of beginnings, of all the hard work that was put in the year before. To get to Aries, we need to plan in order to stay alive... especially back in the day.

The Pull Today's second card came from another numbers game. I got the 10 of Wands so I decided to shuffle 10 times and pull the top card. Out came The Chariot in reverse. I have gotten at least one major every day so far! Very interesting... There are some very big and transformative energies in this challenge. My lesson is the patience and determination to get through the hard parts in life. Even when I feel stuck, I still have the strength to flip that chariot back over and drag it up that hill (to make a deal with god). Astrology Associations The Chariot is, of course, the Cancer card. Tarot Overload Day 2

 Hello, everyone! This will be a daily (hopefully) series! If you missed the first post, I am participating in the Tarot Overload Challenge by Thomas over at Hermit's Mirror . The Prompt What gift have I been given to what I have to do in this life? The Pull I shuffled as I usually do, and Temperance came out. I didn't want to do the arc again like I did yesterday because it wasn't resonating. I remember that HermitsMirror had done something with numbers to get to his next card (the details are here ), and I thought about how I wanted to be guided today. I shuffled 3 more times, and I counted down to the 14th card because Temperance is number 14. The Magician came out. I was floored and way too excited. Dream Visit

Greetings, friends! Before you start, I want to offer a trigger warning about death, grief, and a visit from the afterlife. I woke up this morning mid-sob, mid-hyperventilation, mid-sniffle. For the Cancer lunar cycle, I was doing a dream ritual nightly before bed at the guidance of Artemis. I have since stopped, and I have been getting the most intense dreams ever since. Here is why I woke up sobbing this morning. Goddess Statue from  here My nana visited me in my dream. I have never had this happen before.  My nana died in May of 2019 while I was in grad school doing my practicum. It was the longest 5 days of my life. I did not sleep more than about 3 hours each night, and I dissociated my way through the trip trying not throw up from the constant lack of sleep. I had homework to do, and I watched in horror as my nana was sicker than I had ever seen her, and she was being neglected.
