Welcome to Day 10!
We are on Week 2! This week, we are taking the cards from last week with the same prompts and intentionally choosing a card that intersects the original two cards. If this sounds confusing, go to Tarot Overload Challenge by Hermit's Mirror to check out his own words. If you're curious and want to read how the earlier days went, you can find them here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.
Let's go!
The Prompt
When in the past have I used my gift towards my purpose?
The Pull
Knight of Pentacles + The Fool Reversed = The Hanged One
I have used my gift to help me gain new perspectives in times of stagnancy and fear. I chose this card because they represent perspectives and entrapment, but also has the ability to free themselves.
Astrology Associations
The Hanged Man is the Neptune card. Neptune is ruled by Pisces. My Neptune is in Capricorn and the 11th house. This planet is very dreamy and represent liberation. Other associations are illusion, inspiration, dreams, and psychic abilities.
Everything relates back to money with, doesn't it? The Capricorn energy that I have in this planet says that I shall be obsessed with being rich. I want to deny it and say no, no, no, I am better than that. That is not fully true though. I want to be financially secure (not necessarily rich), and I have lived my life in a way to help me get to this point. I have followed the rules to get here, but even so... security is never guaranteed.
After the initial denial and gut wrench of shame, I can see the Neptune energy in my Capricorn money obsession. I want to have this money to help others. I would not be rich for long. Instead, I would work hard for reparations, the redistribution of wealth (including mine), and the acquisition of land so that I may give it back to its rightful guardians. #LandBack
So while I wouldn't be wealthy or rich for long, I would try my hardest to make a difference and fight for the liberation of others. Something I read that I really liked was natal Neptune in Capricorn people will often be found "working through the restructuring of how society expects one to make money." This is something that I am passionate about.
Not everyone needs to go to a 4-year college. Trade school are amazing. Education in ALL forms should be available to everyone. No one should ever need to pay for shelter, food, water, clothing, medical care, and what it takes to live in the modern world: internet, etc. Internet access is, at this point, a necessity to survive.
The 11th house is one of friendships and social life. While I connect pretty well online with others, I often struggle in person. Neptune in this house has the character trait of being a(n over) giver. That is my to a T. I am sensitive and want to be like. I value and honor deep and authentic relationships. I do not have the time or patience for frivolity (Is that the Scorpio energy of 8*).
